people on the news were concerned the coyotes would attack people.  has that ever happened?

LOL, no.  I almost guarantee it wasn't coyotes attacking the dogs either.  Prob. a bunch of fracking kids.

a couple of coyotes in california threatened me and my dog (more the dog) once.  ca and az coyotes don't act like ks coyotes.

Coyotes kill pets pretty often here in Colorado.  Mostly I saw foxes when I lived in Leawood, but I'm sure there could be coyotes.
