Title: USA Today Poll
Post by: catsfan20012002 on August 04, 2006, 04:15:03 PM
The USA Today Poll is out and the Big XII is represented by:

#02 Texas
#05 Oklahoma
#22 Nebraska
#25 Texas Tech

Iowa State, Texas A&M and Colorado got votes as well.

Texas has two major games on their schedule (Ohio State and Oklahoma). It appeared that Oklahoma had a good thing going schedule wise, really their only questionable game was Texas, until the Rhett Bomar situation happened. Keep in mind, from what we're hearing, it may not stop with him and J.D. Quinn. Texas Tech has alot of tough games on their schedule (at tcu, at Texas A&M, Texas and at Oklahoma).

Texas A&M is a team to look out for in my mind. Texas Tech will be difficult for them but I like the fact that it's at home and of course there's always the biggie at the end of the year vs. Texas. Of course.....I thought the same thing last year and they ended up 5-6.

I'm not comfortable predicting the Big XII North. I never like picking for against the Cats. Too much of a conflict of interest.

Should be a fun year in the conference.
