March 26th report.
Auman also updated his blog at St. Petersburg Times with notes on coveted power forward from Chipola College, Gary Flowers. USF remains in contention for Flowers, with Seton Hall as another top contender; Flowers is also considering Maryland, West Virginia and Kansas State, according to his former AAU coach. Flowers originally enrolled at Oklahoma State out of high school before being dismissed from the school, would have three years of eligibility left. He averaged about 12 points and 7 rebounds for the Chipola program this past season.

As you will recall, he was an OSU commit but was kicked off the team due to being arrested for possessoin of marijuana, I believe without every playing a game. He would have 3 years of eligibility.

He was a 4* recruit in 2006. http://kansasstate.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?Sport=2&pr_key=40671
I can hear the howling from Lawrence if we sign both Evans and Flowers!

Kicked off the team for poss of mj? That's all? Did he buy it from JamesOn? What a laughable double standard they employ down in Stillwater. Matbe Sean should have bought some too. It may help him relax and stop sweating like Patrick Ewing during games.

My guess is that there was actually more to it, but this was the public reason.
