Title: 21-40 from 2
Post by: PowercatPosse on March 22, 2008, 06:52:58 PM
That is pretty solid and i will take 21-40 on 2 pt shots vs a good defensive team any day.

We just picked a bad day to be ice cold from deep.   Some of that was because of Wisky, but 10 or 11 of our 13 threes were good looks on open shots and we just missed em.

Wisky on the other hand was red freaking hot from the outside in the first half, and although our D was not real good, it seemed like they made every wide open shot.

If we had just gone 4-13 from deep that would have made us 25-53 (47%) from the field and then this game would have come right down to the wire.

But we didn't and that is why we were down by 9-13 most of the 2nd half

We've pretty much been like that all year. Our fate was set the day we were forced to start Clent and Blake, and not even [insert legendary bball coach] could have done anything to prevent it.

Yea it was horrible. Even Beasley was missing open looks. Our guards were horrible, I dont i have ever seen guards worse at creating action off of the dribble, excluding Pullen of course.

We didn't make longer than a twelve foot shot. Wow.

Than you have Wisconsin shooting/making three pointers close to midcourt. Damn.
