Title: You knew our guards would be our downfall in the end
Post by: WildCatzPhreak on March 22, 2008, 05:25:01 PM
It would have happened eventually against some team.  They're wildly inconsistent.  No 3's, letting opposing guards drive right by them into the lane, losing their man allowing Wisky to hit open 3's.  Wisky's guards outscored ours 47-8 so far and the game's not even over.

Thanks to Mike and Billy for a great year.

But they have their upside too, we lost that game by that margin because of defense.

Everyone worried about a lack of SG before the season and it was the achilles heel.

I knew they'd be our downfall...but I didn't know it would be that pronounced.  Interesting year all around.  Mike was a pleasure to watch.  I will always follow him in the NBA.  Bill should come back...he really should, but I think he won't.

I am going to miss Blake Young's hustle and drive.  That guy was a bumble bee on crack around the court.
