Title: Hubert Davis with a little purple love
Post by: CatMission on March 22, 2008, 10:17:52 AM
Basically just said that if K-State continues to get performances from role players like Thursday night, a run to the Final Four and National Championship would not be surprising.

Holy crap, I just peed my pants. :ksu:

Entertaining this for a moment...Michael Beasley would clearly be Carmelo Anthony, and Bill Walker would be Hakim Warrick....who would be Gerry McNamara?

a mcnamera type shooter is the difference between us and the elite 8/final 4.  we don't need 8 3's per game but if pullen and clent can hit close to 40%(not completely unreasonable with some of the looks that teams give us) we can play/beat anyone.  ku game is the perfect example.

"a mcnamera type shooter is the difference between us and the elite 8/final 4."

I guess that's kinda my point on this as well.  Look, maybe Stewart and Pullen can step up their 3-point % for a couple of games, but the lack of CONSISTENCY is (edit: has been) a killer.
