Q: Going along those same lines, you are going to be playing in front of a lot of K State fans tomorrow. Is there an idea maybe this being a more neutral court game as opposed to an advantage for Kansas maybe?
COACH KRUGER: We would hope that would be the case. I'm not sure how it will play out. But it may depend if K State wins that first one or not. They'd probably like to get ku out of the bracket more than they'd like to cheer for us perhaps. But it could unfold that way, but Kansas is going to have a good crowd, no question about that. We understand it's a little bit of a road like atmosphere. Again, that's the way when you earn a 1 seed, you deserve that.
I would be there cheering myself if it werent for this huge snow storm we got up here in michigan. :curse:

I'd go if tickets weren't going to cost my pancreas to get.
-
I would cheer for Lon because he is a Stater. Not because he would be beating ku...alright maybe a little.
-
I would cheer for Lon to cut his unibrow and that is about it.
-
Can we claim Lon as an honorary coach like we claim Leavitt...?

I love Lon Kruger.

I love Lon Kruger.
why? I'm not sure I can think of a former kstate coach I dislike more.

great coach.

great coach.
1)Do you love all "great coaches" or just Kruger?
2)What qualifies him as "great"?
3)Are you related to him?
4)Are you from Silver Lake?

Former player too...and I mean that in both senses of the word.

Quite possibly the only thing I respect about that loser.

My story.....my family and I were in LA for spring break....planned way in advance btw, so about a couple of hours away from Selection Hours we heard some rumors that we were headed to the Anaheim regional to play in the 8/9 game. We were planning, if it was true, to stay an extra three days or so to see the 1st/2nd round games.....no dice....we were picked headed to Omaha. Just got home from vaca about an hour or so ago...
Last year we chose not to pick a spring break location because we thought with Huggs/Jason Bennett, that we would for sure be dancing. We were black balled and of course stayed home.
But hey....we caught the NIT home game vs. Depaul. :yuck:  :billypopcorn:
Anyway, I'm happier that we were picked in the 11/6 seed game, instead of 8/9 for many reasons. And hey....Omaha is a better location for the cats...just not for me. :curse: :curse: :curse:

Hell no! Africa=Detriot
pretty much ... I'd like these teams to get a rubber match before Beasley and Walker move on.
Any chance Walker returns? He didn't have a great finish to the regular season, but a K-State fan who ought to know told me that his family needs the money ...
-
That is wat they all fricken say, "We need the money" the thing is they probably don't need it but they want it. No one can ignore over a million dollars.

No. Walker's family definitely needs the money.
The thing is though...he should stay at least one more year to make it so he is guaranteed money. A 2nd round pick isn't a big enough justification to leave early IMO.
