The fans down at Chapel Hill are pissed that they had to attend the funeral of their student body president rather than have to miss watching a bball game:

"We should not be here this afternoon," senior minister Bill Britt said, angry that the 22-year-old was not instead celebrating spring break or watching the mighty Tar Heels play basketball.

I went up to Chapel Hill on Saturday before the Duke/UNC game and the whole town seemed really down in the dumps about the whole thing.  Pretty crappy deal what happened.

So how would it compare to Manhattan after VS died?

I think he meant that it was a senseless crime and that they should have to be there because of it.... but,
