"Although Kansas was a very fine football team a year ago, they lost the wealth of that football program. So much of their defense was lost to graduation. They have a quarterback situation there as well. If Kerry Meier ends up the starter, I think he's a talented young guy, but he doesn't have that starting experience over a period of timee. I think the bigger issue for them is to supplement the losses on defense. That's kind of how I see it"
