Title: Whitlock, S#itlock, Fatlock
Post by: KSU187 on February 27, 2008, 09:36:38 AM
Whitlock is an argry fat bastard.  He's pissed because now we are not sitting around anymore and letting people take jabs at us.  The KC media has taken cheap shot after cheap shot for years and now we are finally fed up with it.

I hope you choke on a chicken wing and die you fat piece of crap.

Here is an account from the game..

"When he walked into Bramlage about 45 minutes prior to the game, he was SOUNDLY booed by the student section - and I'm guessing was called some rather choice things.

So he has to stroll all the over to the southeast corner of the court (basically had to walk from one end of the student section to another) to where he normally would sit by Fitz, J-Mart etc. It's where he sat during the ku game...only this time his seat had been moved.

So now he has to stroll all the way back (in front of the students again...and catching grief again), to the other side of press row, thinking his seat will be near where the ESPN commentators sit.

Nope.

He was in the far northwest corner along the north baseline. Pretty much a bunk seat for a columnist for the largest regional paper covering KSU.

I have no insight if that was done intentionally by the KSU SID staff (and if it was...good for them) but I'm guessing that this latest round of "hate" stems from that. BTW - seeing this whole thing unfold was my favorite part of the night."

I love Whitlock.  His article, while retarded, will only serve to throw more fuel on an already raging fire inside Bramlage.  The Octagon of Doom baby.  The Octagon of Doom.

LOL.. K-State has had the most negative fanbase for years.  This year is no different, there's just more people in the building and higher expectations.  It's funny to know what his motivation is though--trying to get back at the fans who boo him.  I'm sure he'll get cheered loudly at afh Saturday.

There's no need to get mad at Whitlock, he doesn't care.

I do admit that I have enjoyed the thread on another board discussing some of Jason's personal life, here's few tidbits:

1.  Apparently there was a female sports reporter at the UDK that wanted stories so bad she was doing Jason, and the big man busted her bed and had to buy her a new one.   :yuck:

2.  Jason sweats continually, has major halitosis, and was such a slob and perv that the women at a health club where he attempted to work out at for awhile complained to management.

3.  Apparently his favorite pick up lines center around appealing to the desire of the women to hang around pro athletes.

Of course, I may have just described half the guys on this board.

But in terms of getting mad at Whitlock and sending him emails . . .

The Kansas City Star hired Whitlock for one reason and one reason only.  Sell papers by stirring the pot with his sports column.

You have to admit he is really good at stirring the pot.

His columns get pass around for free on the Internet (what the value is anyway) ... doesn't really sell so many newspapers after all.

It give's the Star's website tons of hits though. Which creates advertising revenue which fuels their paper. He does wonders for them. It's just said that KSU fans let him do it.

Tons of hits?? Nah. It only takes ONE hit so that a person can copy and spread a hateful story among the many fans here - no need for the rest of us to visit the Star site at all. I didnt go there and I didn't buy the paper. If it was something written that had merit and value, I might have wanted my own copy. No, Whitlock probably hurts his employer and their rag as much or more than he ever helps them.

I've been on the fence about this, but now I am convinced that KSU needs to pull the Star's press credentials.  No one from the Star should be allowed on KSU's campus.  This is ridiculous.
