Been quite a bit of discussion about what we'll be like. I'm just going with Beasley and Walker being gone. Not a lot of hope for Hoskins even.
So we'll be a guard oriented team and fairly athletic. I see us playing similar to the non-SLTH days of ISU with hopefully Clemente/Pullen playing the role of Stinson/Blalock. If that's the case, it will be a lot fun to watch.

It'll be interesting to see how Ron Anderson develops. I think he could be a real player, and will be our primary post offense w/o MikeBill. Also I pray Dom Sutt develops a jumper in the off-season. Either way if we are playing a fast athletic style it will cater to his skills.

Samuels likely passes Kent at some point, but Kent will still get minutes. Brown and Gills off the bench. Then newcomers. We can win some games with this line-up (plus additions) assuming Clemente is all he's talked about.

by conference play, Samuels should take Kent's spot. I'll be curious what players and at what position we actually end up signing for next year. Looks like we're after a SG and a PF. I would suspect a lot of 3-2 next year, imbbo.

Pullen/Clemente/Brown are gonna make it rain next year.
I've been surprised how well non mike/bill guys have hit the offensive boards this year. Thats really the only way this team will score inside.

I expect lots and lots of running. Moving the best scorers from the 4 and 5 to the 1 and 2 will make transition easier/smarter when your best scorers aren't getting practically every rebound.

We should have balance (FWIW), but I have to say I'd feel a lot better with Hoskins or Walker in that 4 position. If we can sign a SG and a PF that can make immediate impacts I'd feel pretty good about that team.

He went to an NIT final four and won an NCAA game in three seasons. Not too shabby.

I think anderson and kent both would be fine in a transtition oriented offense. Esp Anderson when he could run the floor and get the ball before defenders have a chance to really get set up.

While I agree that Walker is not coming back. I do think that he could actually raise his draft status with another year. (Mike can't raise his by coming back). Next year would be the first time since he was in probably junior high that he would be the focus of the team. He could also get to the point where his lateral quickness would be all the way back.
That being said, I believe that he will be playing in "the league" next year.
As far as the team goes, it will be Pullens team (kind of scary handing it to a Sophomore, but I like the fact that point guards will be the leaders). Anderson continues to impress the hell out of me & DK will be a little more assertive next year which I think will help his shot a lot.
Sutton will score more next year b/c he will be able to react w/o thinking. He seems to be concentrating on getting to the right spot right now.
Fred Brown will find even more shots to take next year. would love to change his form, but he is a good shooter right now and I wouldn't want to mess him up. He will have more confidence w layups in traffic next year also.
Gilbert will play a lot next year and need to score more. Have Gills & Sutton been on the court at the same time at all this year?
Even Sweet Lu has shown me a couple of moves the last couple weeks. We will still need him on the team for the beef if nothing else.
I will be curious to see what Clemente & Samuels bring to the court.
Hopefully we can sign a qualified Kilpatrick. I think the chances of Witherspoon in Manhattan are slightly better than Evans and I can almost guarantee Evans isn't happening. WW would be a focal point if he were here so we have that going for us...which is nice.

Colon has to beat the other team's big down the court to be able to punch them in the back of the head.

Walker's draft status would def go up, but I've been told his wanting to go to the league has more to do with financial reasons for those close to him than him not wanting to be at ksu.

I have heard the same thing and wouldn't blame him one bit. After all, the reason people go to college is to get a better job. Tough to find one better than the NBA.
