Knight gets an exemption because it's entirely possible that without his input KSU wouldn't have been interested in Huggins and Huggins wouldn't have been interested in KSU. If not try replacing Beasley, Walker, Pope, & Mayo with the 1-star recruits for whose services we'd have been duelling Southeastern North Dakota Tech if Huggins had passed. :yuck:

Unless Mayo is the type of person who would lie directly to a coach's face, he's going to SC. Sonny's not the problem. Some AAU/runner types have managed to wedge themselves between OJ and his support system. They're just looking for a quick payday.
