let me tell you my double filet-o-fish story-
i was sitting drinking at the bar at Brio one night , there were two couples drinking next to me and my gf. we started talking and they ended up being franchise owners for 5 mc'ds around liberty, mo area, north east kc. i have a mc d's fetish, love it way too much and was talking about how much i love it. they asked about my opinion on the double filet-o-fish. i told them i loved it (i did). two greasy fish sponges layered with tartar sauce between a spongy grease catching bun. heaven.
since i was eating at mc d's way too much i quit last february and really, really, really miss my double filet-o-fish during lent. damn saul. i miss that damn sandwich.

Like you can deduce from 'clams comment, this is something that Catholics do during lent as punishment for their sins. As a sacrifice, they go an entire day each week without eating the flesh of an air-breathing vertebrate, so they can understand the suffering of Jesus. Just take that pain radiating out into your left arm following your 2x fish sandwich and imagine it projecting into all four of your appendages. That shows how much God loves us.
Something like that, I'm no theologian...

Not a theologian, you are a jew. :D I kid of course. I am also on the lent food nothing but fish on fridays kick. It's not too bad, but when we go out to eat on Fridays I look at all the steaks in the menu and it's like they are "calling" me.

OMG the suffering catholics must endure! Every Friday during Lent!? You are stronger men than I my friends.
