Title: PSP or DS? which is the better hand held?

now that i can afford either one and both have a decent game library built up, which one would you recomend?

I have both systems.

Depends what you are looking for...straight games, I'd go DS.  Multimedia/homebrew--PSP

There are a ton of fun games on DS.  Nintendo always gets the knock for being 'kiddy' but frankly, I get damn tired of running cars into a wall or stealing cars in every game on the psp.  DS has the ability to put the entire collection on a flash drive.  This isn't legal, but it's possible...just sayin...no, I don't have it on mine, but it is possible and there are hundreds of pages dedicated to instructions for this.

Honestly, I haven't used either system for as long as I can remember.  If you aren't a frequent traveler and/or have constant downtime, I wouldn't bother with either.  Most people won't want to sit around and play on a 3 inch screen at home when they have a 40inch + screen right there with a much more powerful console, but that's just my opinion...what do I know?
