Title: Record if thuggins still coach?
Post by: fatty fat fat on January 24, 2008, 12:53:06 PM
I'll go with 11-6 (1-2)

Beasley prolly averges 17 ppg, and our offense consists of nothing more than chucking up 3's after zinging the ball around the perimeter.

I agree.  Huggs would have found ways to lose the UCF and OU games.

Not to mention blaming the fans/players/stan/wyatt after every loss....

I never really had any issues with that sort of thing.  The fans loved him, his players loved him, and he was quick to point the finger at himself when he thought it was warranted as well.  More of an unvarnished straight shooter than a Turd-esque "anybody but me" guy.

"OMG I'm Huggins greatest coach ever, I must prove point"

Honestly, I never liked him when he was here.

I have to say Huggs made me lol! when he'd put the screws to Wyatt after a disappointing loss. (TTech at home last season).

Huggs has an ego so large not even light can escape its gravitational field but he did bring us Mike, Bill and the #1 recruiting class in the nation and he did put KSU hoops firmly back in the national spotlight.  There's certainly room for criticism but don't forget to say thanks as well.

He tried to take it all away.

We should give congrats to 'te, and frank. not to thuggins.

Well maybe something along the lines of, "Thanks Bob and &@#% you right in the ass," would be more appropriate.

You're trying to argue Martin is a better coach than Huggins?  Mkay...
