I still have not found a decent sports bar in Wichita and I've lived here pretty much all my life (minus the time spent in Manhappenin) and no one seems to have their act together when it comes to watching any kind of sporting event not to mention K-State basketball. Usually it takes them until the under 16 timeout to realize how to change the channels on their tvs. Then they keep the sound turned down so low you can't hear over the cackle of all the blue hairs running around. So if someone knows a good spot to watch the game please let me know. So I've been to..... Hero's, Emerson Biggins, BG Boltons, Old Chicago.... so hopefully someone knows of somewhere really cool that I don't even know about. Or at least somewhere where other Cat fans watch than please enlighten me.

You could try Madrocks in Derby. It is the most legit sports bar I have been to in this area. Plus it is non-smoking.

Thanks for the suggestion but im a northwest sider and doubt I could get anyone else out to derby but thank you

I used to hang out at Players on west 21st street. It was pretty good.

We usually end up at the sports bar in Northrock bowling alley. Excellent service, lots of big screens, lots of beer, good crowd, and we have never had any trouble.

sounds like I might just head over to northrock tonight.... thanks guys

Anywhere in old town? My dad is in town and we wanted to stay down in old town, so would most of the bars have ESPNU?
Thanks

Oscars sports bar is pretty good, it is inside The Warren Downtown. Also, I usually enjoy Old Chicago. Emerson Biggins, is good food and good scenery, along with lots of tv's.

Try the Horn @ Kellogg and Tyler, it's not a sports bar, but there will be a lot of horny older ladies you will be guaranteed to get lucky with if you are the least bit attentive. Read about the game in the paper tomorrow

Granite City @ 21st and Maize is cool. Good food, tons of plasmas, cheap (craft) beer. And the GM is a K-State alum, so that's a bonus.
