that picture reminds me of the "christmas story" kid. Ralphie's little brother. when they bundle him up to go outside and he can't keep his arms down by his side.

They had to make him that skinny... EA Sport figured most people would be playing on a reg. size screen with a 4:3 ratio.... Once widescreen TV's become more standard they will be able to show him at his true 16:9 size.

how come a guy with all his damn money just doesn't go out and have the bypass stomache surgery. It might add 15 years to his life. he keeps going at that size, with all the physical and mental demands that come with being a HC and he won't live another 20 years

sometimes, doctors aren't able to give a gastric bypass surgery to certain patients. mangino is probably one in this case. he also might not want to do it because doing that A. doesn't necessarily automatically make you lose weight and B. takes away a lot of your time after your surgery and time is something that a HC of a D1 program (even if it is the hawks) doesn't have. Also, money is not the issue. As long as you have insurance, and the insurance believes that this is a necessary procedure for you, then they will pay for the surgery.

I thought that to get insurance to pay you not only had to be overweight but you had to be able to proe, usually through documentation from a physician what steps you took to lose the weight on your own and with medical help, and then you also had to be in imminent danger of having serious health related problems due to weight loss. Ofcourse, anyone as big as Mangino is, is probaly is serious health trouble.
I had no idea that the stomache surgery is not going ot guarantee weight loss, I thought it was a sure thing

One thing that could make that pic remotely better would be ku losing to La Tech.
