LOL a person in my class thought the monster was a huge whale.
He obviously has low MMIQ.

Me too. The only reason I wanted to see the movie was to see what the hell the monster was. steve dave just saved about $20.

just got back from seeing it.
started out good. its funny, once they started showing the monster(s) it became just another creature movie. think it would have been a better movie if you really never saw the monster, just glimpses of it.
oh, and don't sit in the front row, it has that whole blair witch effect:

I think the whale thing came from all of those viral sites that were promoting the movie.

Amazing movie. Hate that people who see it don't realize it wasn't even a monster movie. It was a love story with a monster in it. Big difference.

couple of things: it blew.
didnt start funny. wasnt funny in the middle, didnt end funny.
just was predictably acted, scripted and edited.
"hey, a giant monster is attacking our city, dropping parasites that eat humans like tic-tacs, let me go look for my girl admist all the chaos, tell her i love her."
should have been called pearl harbor 2: reloaded.
no, its not the whale thing. i wish it was. it looks cooler.
this thing looked like a naked bat. srsly. it crawled with looong front arms like a bat.

At one point they had a chick impaled by rebar, so what do they do? They lift her off of it of course, and she is perfectly fine. And apparently, helicopter crashes are pretty easy to live through too.

I thought the monster movie part of it worked. You know if you're the type that is going to like wathching New York get torn or not.
The love story part... not so much.
Overall I thought it was okay.

Here is how I would describe the movie.
You hear a girl gives great head from people. You are bored and really need something to do. So you pick her up. After spending too much for a large drink you get down to it. The movie is really like a girl licking your balls for an hour and a half. Then she just stops before you really get down to business. She leaves you sitting there, balls in a slight tint of blue and you realize that you just spent too &@#%ing much money for something you could have done by yourself and oddly enough with a handy cam too.
