He also called us ku, said we were leading 42-20 at the half, referred to Walker as Gilbert in the fisrt half, said Bill had 2 fouls in the first half, and several various other incorrect name calls.....

Announcing was solid, no doubt. Like when Young missed a 2nd half fast break layup and was knocked to the floor, and Pullen got the put back. They said Young got his own rebound and put back, pretty impressive for laying on the ground, if I do say so.

I may be wrong but I thought I heard the play by play guy say something to the effect of "Its like when a guy hits a punt and he starts walking toward the iron" I thought WTF?
-
During the first half, announcer said Martin was an assistant at ku last year under Bob Huggins. LOL
-
Most revealing words uttered by Slittorf's sidekick were those indicating that he couldn't name a coach of any team that offered a scholly to Dom Sutton (including Syracuse, ku, Illinois, etc.) other than Jim Calhoun at UConn. Real basketball knowledge possessor there, that basketball announcer guy.

Some real boners. It wasn't Split so much as the play-by-play guy.

I think he meant when a golfer knows he misses a putt and walks after it towards the hole. I believe it was in reference to Griffin's missed FT, which in actuality was almost a lane violation by him.

My favorite part was how the announcer was acting like Splitorff discovered America when he said that Beasley and Griffin were going to be the best players on the floor.
