If any of you think that Brodie Croyle is going to be 'franchise' QB. You are &@#%ing retarted. It would be even more to bring in his old college coach that never put up more than 25 points a game in college.

Brodie Croyle is a huge FP, imo

To be honest it won't matter until we get rid of Herm.

To be honest it won't matter until we get rid of Herm the entire organization minus Tony Gonzales.

Chan Gailey is the guy. Thoughts?
I like the hire. I know he's not a head coach but as a head coach in the NFL he was 18-14 (.563) with two playoff appearances.
At Troy State, where he was the DB coach, they went 19-5 (.792) with a National Championship.
At Georgia Tech he was 44-34 (.564) as a head coach and went to 6 bowls and won a division championship.
He has OC experience with the Denver Broncos, Pittsburgh Steelers and Miami Dolphins. The 1989 Broncos had the 8th best scoring offense in the NFL, the 1990 Broncos had the 16th best scoring offense in the NFL, the 1996 Pittsburgh Steelers had the 11th best scoring offense in the NFL, the 1997 Steelers had the 7th best scoring offense in the NFL, the 2000 Miami Dolphins had the 16th best scoring offense in the NFL and the 2001 Miami Dolphins had the 8th best offense in the NFL.

To be honest does it really matter?? With Croyle at QB it is really hopeless.

What did Croyle have to work with? Yes he was 3-7 with 2 INT's during his rookie season but this was basically his first real shot in the NFL. Name a QB that was a star his during first real season?

Be honest. Do you see any potential in Croyle at all?

It's too early to tell. We've got to build around him, especially up front, for him to even have a chance.

You are right to a degree. We need to build around a QB, but we don't have that QB right now, imo.

How do you know until you build around him?
