Title: Used Video Game vs. New Video Game
Post by: cas on January 05, 2008, 02:52:39 PM
I am thinking about getting NCAA Football 08 for the XBOX 360, after recently purchasing the system. I really don't want to pay $40-50 for the new, but if I get the used will it be crapty and be more trouble than what it's worth??

No.  The only media (DVDs, CDs, etc.) I buy these days is of the used variety from Amazon and I've never had a single issue.

Thanks. I'm going to go with the "used". $40-50 for a game that is semi-outdated is unreasonable.

I was thinking of going to either EBGAMES or Gamestop.

Used games blow but it won't be too bad since it's a game you'll only be playing for half a year.

Gamestop makes sure their used games are fine or they cant sell them. I've never had a problem with used games

Hastings and EB are both pretty good. If I can save more than $5, I go used.

Gamestop prices were absolutley unreasonable, it was $50 for used, $60 for new. Target had it for $50.00 new. I'm going to wait next and get 09, unless my friend that has every XBOX game known to man, lets me buy it from him.
