This just proves that Ron Prince is always listening to his recruits' needs. Chris Harper says he needs to develop a relationship with the coaching staff, and Prince one-ups him and actually makes him related to the coaching staff.

Seriously, I am all for this move.

Excellent analysis.  My only concern is that we shot to low for this.  We should have hired a "Butler/Brown's Dad" combo followed by as many DT fathers as we could locate positions for.  If another staff position was open for Harper's father then, yeah, throw him a bone.  The question is, do we immediately fire him if Harper doesn't commit?  We will need that staff position open for "future use" if he goes elsewhere.
