Title: For those of you who think that Franklin did not have a falling out with Ronald
Post by: Pete on December 28, 2007, 11:02:46 AM
Check this out...

http://www.kansas.com/sports/lutz/story/265706.html

James may take Harper with him to Maryland.  'Cause assistant coaches part on good terms with head coaches and take their committed players all the time.

Even the namesake of Ronald's son thinks Ronald is a douche.  Taking the star recruit with you...wow.  Simply attempting such a move is amazing.  I'd wager that &@#%ing Ron's wife wouldn't be as offensive to Ron as stealing away Harper.

I wonder if Tim Weiser has buyer's remorse yet?

"I would say about 75 percent of Chris' decision to go to K-State was based on Coach Franklin," said LeDale Harper, Chris' father. "He's like family to us. Not only has he talked extensively with all of us here, but we have people in New York and he's talked to them. I have a sister in Washington, D.C., and he talked to her. He spent two years recruiting Chris and building that."

So Franklin is the better salesman?

Dalonte must have had a HUGE falling out with his old boss.

Bob Lutz talking KSU football...I'm all ears.

As for Harper...Franklin was never an OC for duel-threat QB...Prince (Marcus Hagan) and Brock (William Washington) both have run duel-threats as OC and that is what Harper had interest in playing.  Brock had the Oregon style offense as OC.

This is getting stupid.  Bellotti was just looking around and decided to stay...so when he pulls a Rich Rodriquez next year we will all LOL at Harper if he goes there.  Zook is waiting for the next best thing after being in the NFL and at Florida.  It's only a matter of time.

1)  I didn't see anything that said Franklin was recruiting Harper.
2)  Of course they had a falling out.  Prince sexually assaulted Franklin's wife with a cue ball DURING his mother's funeral.

It was stupid for Harper to chose KSU in the first place.  I was elated that we convinced him to do so.  It's not like there's a great shot that Ron's going to be at KSU for Harper's entire tenure either.

I don't care what offense Brock or Prince ran...they currently have a 6-6 statue QB who is just fully learning the offense, coupled with an OL that is taking baby steps towards being competent....we aren't changing that (at least I hope not) for anyone for at least 2 years.  I don't see Ron pulling the same thing Pinkel did on Brad Smith/Chase to Freeman/Harper.

Harper would have been just another player out of position.

I'd wager that fracking Ron's wife wouldn't be as offensive to Ron as stealing away Harper.

Any &@#%ing involving Ron's wife is offensive to most men with sight.

Harper picked a man, not a school. And the man up and moved.

With the way coaches up and bolt at the first sign of greener pastures these days in CFB, this seems like the smart route to go.

All I seem to remember with OCJF is being more confused with the playcalling than not. Umm, I dont think I care that he is gone... with Der Fuher Prince, that comes with the territory.

Very true.  It really makes you question his FBIQ.

Why do you think that Rivals bumps guys up for choosing schools with good programs like Nebraska, Notre Dame, OU, etc., and relegates KSU's commits to the 2-star list?  The former shows high FBIQ, latter shows low FBIQ, that's why.

Ron's obviously bold and daring in the bedroom on a nightly basis.

Lutz is the biggest ku fan and anti-KSU writer in existence.  He's what Fox News might call "Fair and Balanced."  We all really know what it is.  Plus, he's not even a very good journalist.

Oh heavens....my email says that the 'Tard Illuminati have come through again.

Dude is on there posting that a player told him a number of things...all but one have been confirmed as true by other superior local residents on that board (RMC and his crew)...

The last is the doozy.  Guess Ron was going to wack James all along....shocking news, just shocking.

The other items in my email (and again, these are confirmed by the Lords of the Tards) are as follows:

1. Hogan will be back and is faster than Murphy (fastest on team).
2. Brock is a fav with the players, but has an in-your-face-style...he'll coach QBs and they are searching for a WR coach
3. No more RBs are desired by the staff.  Childs will move spots.  Reed and Woods are not poop.
4. The JC WRs coming in are good at football

The "confirmed by my sources" posts were funny. Mostly after the denied the franklin/prince hatred.

I wish when Prince didn't know where to put a kid he threw him on defense.

3. No more RBs are desired by the staff Sure they are, but after Trent Hunter's decommit, we'll pretend we didn't want Aundre Dean.  Childs will move spots.  Reed and Woods (stud) are not poop.
4. The JC WRs coming in are good at football just like Ernie Pierce, right?

There was fallout, but not between Franklin and Prince.  As Prince explained plainly and concisely during his halftime interview at the Wagner game, this is just more fallout from the Nick Saban situation.
