Does anyone know how to hook a PS3 up to online with wireless internet?
-
hard line from the modem to your ps3?
-
What version? (60, 40, 20)
-
40

Only the 60 GB has built-in Wifi and the other versions don't support USB Wireless Adapters, so you have to make it go through the Ethernet port on the PS3. Your best bet is getting a "gaming" adapter, something like this: http://games.dlink.com/products/?pid=383&#DGL-3420
Good luck.

My 40gig has WiFi. 20 gigs are the only ones that don't

Ummm...I don't have a Playstation 3, but their site (http://www.us.playstation.com/support/ps3/gettingstarted/s_ps3_gs_si.html) disagrees. I could be wrong and if I am then follow this (http://manuals.playstation.net/document/en/ps3/current/settings/connectwireless.html).
Wireless* connection
See the User's Guide for detailed instruction on how to connect to the internet using a wireless local area network (LAN).
*Wireless connectivity is only supported by PLAYSTATION®3 60GB model.

Trade it for a 360. PS3 online sux anyway. Plus, they have zero good games that aren't on the 360.
