Title: No Country For Old Men
Post by: asava on December 19, 2007, 12:35:12 PM
Go see it. I have. Twice. I guess its an incredible book as well, i got about 30 pages deep while waiting in line to sell my books in varneys, and it was pretty amazing. Loved Cormac's prose.

Anyways, this movie was just beyond anything i have seen this year, or for the past 5 or so years. Amazing performances from everyone involved.

heard it was good, heard it was evil.  heard it was well cast.

i might have to pop it in over at grandma's house next week when the family is all around the television sipping on some eggnog and eating some of her famous gingerbread man cookies.

i've narrowed our christmas eve choices down to No Country For Old Men or Superbad.  maybe i'll put my hands behind my back and let grandma pick!

it just came out in theaters, not on the dvd yet.  although, i'm anxious as hell to see it.  looks intense.

my brother in law works for a film production company and is a big movie buff (the annoying type that can't enjoy most movies because he looks to deeply into them) and thinks it will be the best of the year.

Loved Cormac's prose.

incredible author.  highly and universally praised, and still drastically underrated.
