Pre-trial conference continued again - this time until July 20.
Can you get us:
1) whether the pre-trial conference (PTC) was indepedently scheduled or part of a docket with multiple cases scheduled at the same time before the same judge?
2) what the Court's accepted/filed/noted reason was for the continuance (not necessarily the reality behind why it was continued)?
3) what, if any, motions or hearings were scheduled to be argued at the PTC?
Generally, it would seem odd that a Judge would allow a PTC to be continued twice. Even when it's known that the parties want more time before trial to get some kind of deal done or for evidence to be processed/exchanged, the Judge would still set a trial date in order to keep the parties moving. Judges are often graded by how quickly cases move through their courts. If you can get answers to the above questions, the continuances could make a little more sense.

Isn't a bad sign when it keeps getting pushed back? I would think if he is going to be aquited(sp?), it would be done sooner, rather than later. :crybaby:
-
COMPLETELY AND TOTALLY FALSE! it is a better sign if it keeps getting moved. that means the prosecution is just trying to buy time. they have nothing on him is what it is going to come down to. mark my words, he will be aquitted.
too much law and order for you. post whore.
:D

The recruitment of former Rivals150 shooting guard Tyree Evans took another twist on Thursday. A pre-trial conference had been continued from an earlier date and was scheduled to begin again on June 29. Evans earlier had stated he would be in Manhattan to play for Kansas State coach Bob Huggins as soon as he finished up with his court appearances.
