Two games the week of 12/17 will be homers
If Wooly was here those games would be called "nail-biters", with him gone they are again homers.
-
I really wish than W&M date would get locked in. I've gotta start planning my trip back for that weekend.

Interesting we could play NM twice. If we can equal the results of the last season we played an OOC opponent twice it'd be alright though.
-
@ Rutgers is not happening in '06-'07. In fact, we're trying to get out of it all together. Rutgers fans are disappointed but I'm not.

nm
-
wtf? :yuck:
-
OOC, dude, OOC (unofficially)
-
I wish the first NM game was a little later in the OOC season, I wanted to go to the game and then ski...Taos isn't usally open that early in the ski season.

am i the only one that is really hoping for a kstate-wichita state matchup?
-
I am, just because I am sick of hearing from WSU how they are the best basketball team in Kansas.
One good run in the tourney and they all of a sudden think they move from 3rd to 1st. I hope Huggy crushes them.
-
Anyone else going to the tourney in Vegas? I booked my trip a couple of weeks ago. That tournament always has a good field. Cincy and LSU played a classic in the final game last year.

Dec. 6 @ North Dakota State
-
So compiling a list with dates (from information from various sites) so far should include these 9 games:
Nov. 11 William & Mary
Nov. 21 @ New Mexico
Dec. 2 @ Colorado State
Dec. 6 @ North Dakota State
Dec. 17 Maryland-Eatern Shore or Kennesaw State (Las Vegas Holiday Classic)
Dec. 18 Maryland-Eastern Shore or Kennesaw State (LVHC)
Dec. 22 Southern California @ Las Vegas (LVHC)
Dec. 23 New Mexico or Wichita State @ Las Vegas (LVHC)
Jan. 3 @ Xavier
If @ Cal is indeed on the schedule, that would leave 3 more games to be set, likely all home games, and one per rumor possible against a "big name" opponent. Right now we have William and Mary, Maryland-Eastern Shore, and Kennesaw State as home games for our OOC.

thx fan, updated.

Found this listing on Basketball Travelers (link (http://www.basketballtravelers.com/board/search_results.asp?season=9%2F1%2F2006&gender=Men's®ion=%25&Submit=Submit))
Kansas State University-Men's
Type: Game
Dates: 12/28/2006 to 12/30/2006
Looking for a home game on either Dec 28 or 30th. Road schedule is complete. Very competitive guarantee with hotels. Will consider H/H. Must be a D1 opponent.

Excellent find chico.
-
Just glancing, these seem like possibilities for home games from other teams on that site: Winthrop (Greg Marshall, up and coming coach), SMU (Dez back in town), and New Mexico State (Fred back in the Fred, plus we could be New Mexico state champions :) ).
-
Interesting that site lists 2 dates for what sounds like one opening that we need to fill. That would put us at a total of 11 games, so one or two more would seem to be filled or in the works right now. Perhaps we have our "big name" opponent in line or we are at least leaving one slot open for that possibility. Or we could be actually playing Northern Illinois at home too.
-
lets go for a big name to help the ol RPI
-
i think we officially have more ooc road games this season than in wooly's entire stay.
