Title: honestly
Post by: ksuno1stunner on June 16, 2006, 01:04:19 PM
are 6 rb's really necessary?  i can see maybe 2 changing positions, but we had leon patton in the last class.  i wouldn't depend on the 5'9'' guys trying to defend passes vs. 6'5'' t-tech receivers (unless their last name is garvin, of course ).  am i the only one  over here?

it depends on if you count carlos alsup and donnie anders as people that will ever actually make a contribution

leaving those two guys out its just clayton, johnson, patton(possible redshirt), and fisher (whos injury seems pretty serious).

basically clayton, johnson, alsup, and anders will be the 4 deep for this year at rb.  i dont see whats wrong with that.

swish, he's talking about in the current recruiting class, not the current roster. stunner, Cuba, for one, is not going to be toting the rock for us. We have a more important position in mind for him.

look at Texas's roster.  The majority of the roster played RB in high school.  The players on special teams are almost all former running backs.  The key is speed.
