odd trends in football between Texas, Texas A&M, KSU, and Nebraska?

No matter how good or bad we are, we always play Texas to the wire and lose.

No matter how bad or good you are you always beat Texas.

You seem to struggle with Texas A&M.

We almost always beat Texas A&M.

In 1999, 2006, and 2007 (and maybe other years I am forgetting) Texas beat us, you beat Texas, and then we beat you.

Oddly enough, this trend is also evident in basketball (for K-State at least.)
