I will agree that our defense gets forgotten at times, but reesing continues to do things people didnt think he could do.  No matter how it plays out, its been a great fun year.

I will agree that our defense gets forgotten at times, but reesing continues to do things people didnt think he could do.  No matter how it plays out, its been a great fun year.
It really has nothing to do with Reesing. It's your o-line.


You have backs that run hard, an o-line that create holes and can pick up the pass rush, receivers that do a decent job getting open and a competent (but not "elite") quarterback. None of this happens if you don't have the o-line that you do. The only player on the offensive side of the ball that is of serious NFL caliber is probably Collins. Other than that, I can't think of anyone that really sticks out.

But, that says a lot about your team, so don't take that as an insult in any way. It says wonders about your coaching staff and quite frankly, it scares the crap out of me that a team can just rise out of nowhere like that. In one year. That's not supposed to happen in college football.

He does what? Doesn't turn it over, has pretty decent awareness when he's going to get tackled? I don't sleep on our defense. Our guys are good, but our defense for the last 3 years has been up to par with other teams. We finally have a QB who can manage a game, run the offense, push the drive, and not turn the ball over. It's amazing to see an offense move like that.

I give credit where credit is due. Reesing isn't the best QB to ever grace the game, but he doesn't make tons of mistakes like the idiots running through Lawrence in the past.

Well... I could name 17 quarterbacks that have more yards passing than Reesing, 30 that have more completions per game, 14 that have a better passer efficiency rating..

reesing never gets touched when he drops back.  plus, most of the time they run that one running play to mcanderson, the give up the middle.  ku has like four plays.

The running play you mentioned,
Shovel pass
WR screen to Meier when they have 4 WR lined up in a diamond formation
option
Variations of the same play where the net result is that Meier winds up throwing it
A pass play where either Fine or Henry drops the ball.
A quick hit to a wideout


Oh well, we are still winning.

That was in the past.  K-state was better then.  I didn't lose any sleep then, I won't lose any sleep over it now.  If you want to bring up the past, let's talk about overall records, and games outside of your 11 year run.  When you want to talk about all of the series history and not only from 93 to 03 I'll listen.

I wasn't trying to flame K-state, I understand your inherent need to flame a ku fan on a KState board, some are just stupid.  Same as some KSU fans are just stupid, you can find them in any fanbase.  I don't come on here to be a pain in your a$$.  I do it more from the fact that I live on the East Coast now and while ku is still #1 to me, after that I would much rather hear about KSU than the ACC, Big East or the "Big Five" in Philadelphia.

I don't give a sh1t about things before I was born. Seriously. Our terrible history makes us even prouder of what we've accomplished the past 15 years. It's the greatest story in college football.
