Prince's job is NOT in jeopardy - it's only his 2nd year. Let's be honest when we signed him we anticipated some growing pains (hopefully it cannot get worse than today). Personally, I think he is a quality coach, just has yet to develop consistency from his team week after week. If we are still having this problem in year 4 of the RPEra, then we need to worry.

not this year but some day we may look back at this game as the beginning of the end for him.  Something is not right with this team the way they are playing today there has to be something going on internally with the team.

Consistency?  I'd say that's the one thing we are, at sucking, and beating Texas to trick fans into thinking we don't.

Yes! Future ADBS cannot be happy to have this embarrassment infect the stadium with his name on it.

No point in dumping Ronald if Weiser is going to be the one hiring the replacement. :frown:

QFT.

Nothing will happen, though.  As a collective fan base, we have a higher tolerance for mediocrity and losing than any major university in the country.  It's a cultural thing.

We'll allow this humiliation to last at the very least another 2 years.

It's a regional thing.  Witness the Chiefs and Royals.

EXCELLENT POINT! I have just NEVER seen a team TOTALLY self destruct like we did today. You could say that everything went wrong - but that is an understatement. Actually, I am just completely at a loss for words.

73 and counting... I just thought K-State would match the scoring.
Prince needs at least one more year and another recruiting class. But, after this, can he justify keeping Tibbs as DC?
I want continuity, but either you can coach defense or you can't. Granted, this could be an emotional reaction, too. Another argument is that Tibbs has no players to coach.

Considering 2005 was a bad season and we lost in Lincoln 27-25, I'm not sure what to make of this game today.

Don't sign you're posts.  Especially when you don't know what you're talking about.  Prince has beaten 2 top 10 teams, one of them on the road.  Give him time to get his team together and all of the units fit with his own recruits and then crucify him in two years if it's still this bad.

What happened to the last recruiting class? Abana?

Will one more year make a difference?

The last recruiting class has to step up not the next one. First year players never make a difference.

K-State doesn't play Texas the next two seasons. Instead, we face A&M. The Aggies own the Cats like K-State owns Texas.
Prince will be 0-6 the next two season against the South (if he's still around in 09).
But, I will submit this. I could stomach being o-fer against the South if the team simply won all it's North div. games. I don't see that happening next season in the foreseeable future.

I concur........

Let's hope that getting his recruits will make the difference, at this point it is hard to say.......

If he can pull Mr. Brown that could be a sign of positive changes in the near future......

Anyone have any explanation for why our defense has looked progressively worse this season??????

Craig James just looked shocked that Saunders said today's game won't save any coaching jobs in nubbville.  Just shows you how much it takes to really be an "expert"

In the pregame show James (read idiot talking head) also was talking up ku due to their "solid" victory in Boulder. He went on to say he has ku ranked 3rd in the nation behind the Buckeyes and Ducks. LSU would murder Fatgino's team, I cannot see how you could rank the Hawks ahead of them....

Boone Pickens State University will prevail tonight 30-27...... :hope: :hope: :hope:
