I have been. I went into Best Buy over lunch just to see what they had, and the only decent-looking ones they had under $100 (I don't need vid editing, only DVD authoring) were Roxio Suite 10 and Nero 9 (I think 9).

I figured at least one person on this board had used DVD authoring software before.

Granted. But usually the resident posters here are eager to exhibit knowledge about such topics, and put their hatred aside.

Fatty doesn't hate me anymore. Besides, I'm not asking for youtube or tennis advice, so fatty is pretty much worthless here.

My computer is so old I don't even have a DVD burner :(

Doesn't Window's Media Player 11 have built in DVD software?

Nero.

How is its menu creation? Does it allow a lot of customization, or are you pretty much relegated to a template?

Make a nice DVD. There's nothing special about it that is relevant to my inquiry. I described everything I need it to do in my first post.

Well, the reason you're making a DVD is a much more interesting convo, IMO.

I think that turned to Dazzle DVD Complete, or something like that.
