Has ku had one, just one, of their starters get seriously hurt? just wondering, cuz if so, that's almost unheard of in big time college football. injuries happen, but i guess doesn't apply to LuckyU.

They're probably due for some good luck considering all the injuries they've had in recent seasons.

they've never had an abnormally large amount of season ending injuries in recent years. almost every team has at least 1 or 2 every year.

ku has been extremely lucky this year in regards to injury. In fact, they have no injuries.
The same can be said for Mizzou. No injuries to any one in their starting lineup. The difference between ku and MU is that ku has had some injuries in previous seasons while MU has not. The string of consecutive starts by MU's offensive and defensive line starters is one of the most remarkable and yet unnoticed streaks EVER in major college football. Pinkel basically has played with all his lines intact since he arrived at MU. I remember people making a big deal out of Stoop's first OU team because all 22 starters played in every game. Well, imagine that happening for 6 years in a row. That's Mu. Incredibly, compare that to KSU's string over the same time period and I'd bet that KSU has lost upwards of 20 starters to serious injuries. Mizzou could lost 5 starters for the season for the next 5 years in a row and still be WAY ahead of most teams when it comes to injuries. No one ever talks about this.

Not to nitpick, but MU's #1 RB hasn't played for several weeks.

Last year, ku lost:
For their career: Starting Linebacker, Starting Free Safety, Starting Cornerback
For the season: Starting DT
For the majority of the season: Starting QB, Backup Free Safety (making starter and backup out)
Played on a broken leg: Starting Strong Safety

Maybe ku has better conditioning.

people bitching about injuries are losers.
