Title: Reasons for optimism:
Post by: acceleration_man on October 20, 2007, 11:04:11 PM
1. You should have been watching it on TV. In HD.

2. Jordy will be fun to watch on Sundays

3. Freeman looked like John Elway out there, and he orchestrated the 4th quarter comeback.

4. We converted the super B&D 2pt. attempt!

5. Ron Prince is still "scary smart"!!!!

6. We beat our rival, so who cares about all the other games!

Oh, and by the way... God bless Stan Weber. Good night.

Price was basically the OC tonight, right? I think I like that.

Exactly, before Prince took over this wouldn't have bothered me so much but this team keeps getting my hopes up.

He was the reason we stopped CU's run game last week. Maybe we should just clone him a couple of times..

5 Princes could win with an average KS 8 man team in the Big 12

Do you think he'd be good going back to special teams or should we just get rid of him entirely? Did he actually have a role in the special teams last year or did we just have some good talent?

I don't care.  I'm just pissed and Tibs and his f'd up eye are baring the brunt of my frustration.  I don't think we have the personnel to run a 3-4 and tibs hasn't figured out a way around that.  Our NT's can't control the A gap and that problem just filters through to the LB's. On top of that Tibs seems to think that blitzing our ass off will solve the problem.

Our D didn't perform that badly fwiw.  They were on the field a lot and gave us a chance to win.

I agree especially about the blitzing. I just remember him having Carney (might have been Herndon) blitz in the ku game on every play and they would just throw it straight to the slot back that Carney should have been picking up.
