Eh...I don't know how good of a chance we ever had with him...
Aquinas's head coach is a Nebraska alum and lets it to be known to all that he absolutely HATES K-state.
I don't think it a coincidence that the only impact player we've got from Aquinas is Erker, while Brandenburgh and Reed went to NU.
-
Brandenburgh was not recruited hard by or offered by KSU.

Really? I didn't know that..
Still though, you have to believe that Kopecky's dislike for K-state is a pretty big hurdle for Prince and co. to overcome when recruiting aquinas.

Maybe cuz:
The trip from York, Nebraska to Overland Park, Kansas isn’t a long one, but it takes you from one state to another, one home to another and if you grew up a Husker fan, TV takes you back, but you remain in a land that doesn’t share your devotion. Lance Brandenburgh is making his way back home and back to one his first loves and he told NU that he’s a future Husker.

LOL, aside from the gay stuff you posted...no, KSU didn't offer him because they were worried about Nubb...they didn't offer because Snyder didn't want him. Get it? At that time Snyder was not losing any Kansas kids he wanted to Nubb and he was kicking Nubbs ass into a bloody mess at that time.
Reed bought into the waterfalls and crap in your office. The kid actually believed that had the ball not bounced a few different ways early vs. USC then Nubb might have won...sounds like a bright kid.
-
I agree, a bounce here and a bounce there and USC isn't opening up truck sized holes in NU's d-line.

So your saying that the little Rat always out recruited Nebraska?
How come he could never beat Tom?
You need to run along, you're late for the transgender sock-hop in the Little Apple tonight. Bookie Pimp is waiting for you.

No he's saying that 5 years ago, when Brandenburgh was being recruited, Snyder had the state on lockdown and was beating Nebraska by 30 points.
I didn't know Brandenburgh wasn't recruited by Snyder..makes a little more sense now.

Tom was long gone when Bradenbaugh came out. Hell I think he was in one of Solich's last classes not sure he ever even played for Solich. So as he said by that time we were kicking NU's ass regularly. NU has the worst LB's in the conference so it's pretty clear Snyder made a good eval not recruiting that kid because he can't even start in your crappy group. We don't have a lot of use for slow white crossdressing LB's.

Lance was in the class of 2004. NOt sure when he committed, but he could have committed to Solich, the again to Callahan. You mention Snyder didn't want him, yet many of us Huskers have been screaming for him to start for our "prodigal son", Bo Ruud. NOt flashy, just a hard working blue collar guy, solid tackler. Interested to see what happens with the rest of this recruiting class, how many we can hold on to.
