Anyone have a link to the photospread or article about the 10 most influential or innovative things in college football the last so many years that showed a picture of Bishop or Roberson and mentioned Bill Snyder planting the seeds of the spread offense.  I think it was on CNNSI but am not sure and can't locate.

I think it was with regards to qb run game.

Yeah, that part was.  The photo spread was about the 10 biggest innovations in the last 10 or 20 or 30 some odd years of college football and Snyder developing his package for Bishop to run out of the shotgun was one of them.  I really need to find that online if it still exists.

It's funny how no one will mention it, but ...there is no Mike Vick, no Vince Young, etc. unless Snyder uses Bishop they way he did. Snyder found a way to merge the single-wing offense with a spread formation that was typically only used passing, genius. Let's not forget Snyder was also a part of the John McKay staff who pretty much invented the modern I-formation.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Vick playing at Va Tech the same time MB was here?

Snyder was the first to bring a spread passing offense to both the big 10 and big 12.

Vick's first year was '99.
