Title: Goin to Stillwater
Post by: Lynch on October 14, 2007, 09:07:33 PM: Well I am heading down to Stillwater friday night to stay with a friend at OSU. It will be my first away game so I'm preaty pumped.

Just wondering if any of you know how hard it is to buy tickets at OSU (from fans.)

Also who else is going?

Face value is $85 a seat which is ridiculous but I shelled out for it because we really wanted to go down and support the team. It also helps we have family in Tulsa and the game wasn't televised but we went down there in 2003 and of all the away trip destinations Ostate is one of the more friendly and safe places to go see an away game.

Advice, NEVER EVER go to Boulder. Just don't. Columbia is a close second.

They'll be okay. Maybe some verbal jabs but if you keep it down and root for your own team you'll be safe. Common road game knowledge. Ostate, when they've beaten us..don't make a huge parade out of it like Colorado, Kansas, for example.

You're right this division 1 football..not intramurals! Besides Gundy won't let anything happen to you because he's a man...he's 40!

Went down there in '03 and sat right in the middle of the student section with my face painted. No one said a word to me for the most part. Great place to go to a game at. People are really nice, pretty good atmosphere. Dont be a jackass and you wont have any issues.
