The Cowboys are 4-3 (2-1) with wins over Texas Tech and at Nebraska and losses at Georgia, at Troy and at Texas A&M.
QB Zac Robinson has completed 58% of his passes so far in 2007 for 1,328 yards with 10 touchdowns and 6 interceptions. He threw for 279 yards against Sam Houston State and has at least one TD pass in their last 6 games.
RB's Dantrell Savage and Kendall Hunter have rushed for a combined 1,130 yards (7 yards/carry) and 7 touchdowns. Savage had 212 yards with a TD at Nebraska and also had another TD's at Georgia and against Texas Tech. Hunter had 125 yards at Troy and also scored touchdowns against Florida Atlantic, Texas Tech, Sam Houston State and at Nebraska.
Savage and Hunter will run behind an offensive line that is young on the left side and veteran on the right side. It's an offensive line that has only allowed Robinson to be sacked once.
WR Adarius Bowman and TE Brandon Pettigrew are Robinson's go to guys. Bowman has 721 yards on 44 catches (16 yards/catch) with six touchdowns. His biggest game came at Texas A&M where he had 142 yards on 7 catches (20 yards/catch) and two touchdowns. He also had touchdowns at Georgia, two against Florida Atlantic and one against Sam Houston State. Pettigrew has 323 yards on 18 catches (18 yards/catch). His biggest game came at Georgia where he had 85 yards on 7 catches (12 yards/catch).
The defense was ranked in the Big XII's bottom half in every statistical category last season. In the Cowboys' 3 losses the team has given up 35, 41 and 24 points (33 points/game) respectively. Key players on the OSU defense are CB Andre Sexton and OLB's Patrick Lavine and Jeremy Nethon. Former QB Donovan Woods has been moved to FS.

Defense has to play better against the run. If we get run on like we did the last two games, we're done.
If we can slow them down, or jump out to an early lead, then I like our chances. Looks like our offense is picking up speed, and it looks like we should be able to score on them.
Obviously, being on the road shouldn't effect this team.

I'm scared with what they did to NU, but they did lose to Troy. I think we gave them the run in the 1st half, and didn't drop a safety, so they couldn't get the pass game opened up. It worked. We'll have a different game plan for a different team. I don't want to predict since I'm always wrong (except about ku.) But let's say KSU by 40, just because it's ludicrous.
