It seemed to me like the coaches went at Talib on purpose in this game. We threw to our right ku's left side (Talib's side) consistently in this game. Even Daniel Gonzales was getting open on Talib.

I think it was more a result of having to play Alasena and Josh not being as good rolling left. Of course, this was a touchdown pass, so Josh was removed from the equation completely.

I was actually very surprised at Talib's laughable performace. I mean, if Jordy has a bad game, he can just forget about it and move on. If Talib has bad game, his kid may not eat or may not have shoes to wear.

That's difficult to do when ku rarely plays man to man. When they did, Nelson did beat Talib. ku learned their lesson and didn't give that defense again. The Nelson vs Talib match-up was way overblown b/c ku doesn't (and didn't have to) play man coverage.

Talib is a good player, but I LOL that he has no originallity.
Last year, i saw him doing the jump shot (something the NY Giant D-Line guys were doing). This year, after that INT late in the 4th, you can see him try and mimic Randy Moss's celebration
