If she was having sex with the players, the NCAA wouldn't care, but the University would terminate her for improper conduct.

If she was actually doing the players' school work for them, then the NCAA does care and the football program and participating players would be in big trouble. And the University would terminate her for improper conduct.

Was she handing out any other "improper benefits" . . . cash or whatever?

You've to be effing kidding me. When I was at KSU the "pud" classes were things like "Impact of Technology on Society" (which was a great class taught by a Doctor of Nuclear Engineering).
