thx.

Couple that with the FG missed. I was feeling pretty good about the game until that score. The D wasn't doing too bad in the first half. We then got bent over in the 2nd half when the fat man finally realized he could run the ball all over us.

Our Defense was terrible and showed no signs of adjusting to anything. Mizzou is going to absolutely bend us over and rape the crap out of us.

QFT.
That was the game IMO. Huge change of events and allowed ku to take the lead when they drew first blood in the 2nd half.
The missed FG didn't help either.
ku had the better team.
:curse:

If we would have ran the ball on 3rd and 2 instead of throwing an INT, we would've been up 14 - 7 at the half and we would have won the game. Stupid decision to thow in that situation.

I wouldn't go that far
But the game would have happened differently

It's kinda like throwing outta your own endzone on the road just before half. Glad to see that RP's learned a lot from last year to this year.
Worst playcall of the year so far, IMO.
yes but i bet he doesnt make that mistake again. i feel like he has actually learned a lot from last year and that he does learn from his mistakes, even if he has to make those mistakes more than once. mangino has a lot more coaching experience than prince and it showed today.

The thing about it is, that's the type of "mistake" that I frankly have a hard time understanding why it happens even once. It's just dumb playcalling when you evaluate risk/reward.
prince has undue confidence in freeman. that is why that mistake occurs. he clearly thinks freeman is a future heisman type of player, which he isnt, but he calls plays accordingly. if you put any other qb in there that play wouldnt have been called.
