Are you serious? You don't find it concerning that fat Mangino whipped our ass 2 years in a row? F---- Prince. I don't care if we "beat" Texas. ku owns us!!
GOD DAMN ku
-
What are you talking about dumbass? Why would you fire Prince? You got beat by a better team today. ku won depspite making countless mistakes. Prince is a great coach...if anything, you might want to look at getting a new OC.
-
We should have beaten ku but ku is no cakewalk.
There was a lot of good smack talk during the week, but if you honestly thought KSU would beat ku without a struggle, I'd have to ask you share the stuff you were smoking.
I hate ku just as much as the next person, but you have to be realistic. People made fun of ku's schedule, but we did the same thing under Snyder and was pretty successful. Mangino is a helluva coach. He gets criticized for his pay raise, eating habits, and from broadcasters having to shoot long distance to get him in a frame, but he knows how to build a program.
ku is now 5-0 and unless they have a major meltdown, will more than likely get more than 4 wins in conference for the first time. The plan he put into place is working. Let's just hope Jenny Craig doesn't get to him before he falls over dead.

Will Prince be as successful after 5 years? Its taken Mangino 5 years to field a decent team. Let's hope Prince is a little ahead of that curve.

Deep end.

I think there is no question that Prince is a good coach. I think we can be competitive, but this game shows just how much coaching plays a role in getting a team ready to play week in and week out.
Today, we watched two teams that were pretty much equal. We also learned again, how much a power running game is effective to a winning strategy. ku had over 400 yards of offense, and 165 of that was just running the ball. We had 360+ yards and about 60 of that was running.
I understand the defense didn't play as well because I think we thought that by blitzing and over pursuit, we could rattle Reesing.
Didn't work. We didn't adapt. That's a lot to do with Coaching. The mark of a great coach is to learn how not to make the same mistakes again.
And get a &@#%ing running game.

Yep. Prince and his guys are going to make a mistake if they think we can get by without a running game in the Big XII.
