Post by: catdude33 on October 06, 2007, 02:54:26 PM: Honestly, Mangino is a good coach. Its taken him a while to get a decent QB and a well rounded team, but he does have that this year. I hope within the next couple years K-State will develop the offense and be more well rounded than they are right now. ku is a very disciplined team and they deserved to win the game. I still hate ku, but its between them and Mizzou for the North. I'd put my money on MU, but who knows. I'm sad.

Hey...props to you if you're in the recovery phase already. It'll be a while for me. Throwing cheap, heavy objects around and spewing vitriol on message boards have proven to be far less effective than I'd hoped they might be.

You will be good, but you're not even as "stacked" as you were last year. KSU and ku will be more even athletically than at any time in recent memory.

Prince and his staff got taken behind the mental woodshed as Mangino mind-&@#%ed our coordinators. we showed nothing; no adjustments, no passion, no imagination...Prince can win games if he has a good supporting crew, until then ku will have the upper hand.

Post by: BullHawkWheel on October 08, 2007, 12:43:31 AM: yeah, 7 conference titles in 9 years and 4 elite eights is bad coaching. not to mention our consitant top 5 ranking. incase you didnt know. we replace our only lost player with a top 10 nba draft pick at his spot. i would say with only losing wright, and gaining aldrich, we are just as stacked as last year. unc, memphis, ku and ucla are clearly above the pack this year in cbb. maybe louisville and gtown as well

Post by: BullHawkWheel on October 08, 2007, 01:11:09 AM: losing wright does not hurt us as bad as if we lost both wright and rush, because all american arthur can step in for wright. and seriously, cole aldrich is going to shock everyone. he can shoot with both hands, and is very smooth offensively, but is big enough to hold his ground in the paint. i was watching the ku ksu game with john allen(phog's grandson) and he was telling me that in limited practices aldrich has been dominating. aldrich has also giotten in great shape and self said he was surprised by how well he ran the floor. you guys think he is benneck, but trust me, he will be a good one.

And that isn't even the funniest part, not only are they bringing up basketball, they suck at that too!!!!!!!! I mean really, before you bring up basktball, at least wait until after you beat us once the year before or something. This is just funny. I'm not saying they don't have a good team this year, but they haven't proven anything.
