Missouri State likely has a higher SOS than ku...no joke.
EDIT Nope: Missouri State's is 186 ku's is 182 according to real time RPI. They they now avg 31ppg against roughly the same SOS as ku. K-State beat them 61-10. FWIW.
-
That's pathetic.
-
Isn't Miz St. a 1 AA?
-
Isn't Miz St. a 1 AA?
yes, but there are roughly 60 1AA teams with better SOSs than kus.
-
Seriously? Or is this just uk week banter?
-
Dead serious. ku's SOS is ranked 182 out of all D1 schools. There are only 119 schools in D1A...so what does that tell ya?

And naturally, they are all 4-0.
But who cares about relevant statistics, n'est-ce pas, yosh?

Yikes! But then again I tried to defend schedule smack for so long with Coach Snyder I haven't the heart to really pounce on it. :lick:

And, sadly, the 182 ranking, is because ku is assured a game against KSU.
Watch where you point the fingers, idiots.

If we were assured a game against Oklahoma, that figure would be lower.

Well that last comment was uncordial to say the least. :nono:

Actually only like 9 or 10 of them are. Schools like North Dakota St. Northern Iowa and McNeese State to name a few. Don't worry though...I'm Sure ku has better margins of victory. I don't care enough to check it out. :D

the 182 ranking has nothing to do with KSU, it doesn't even factor KSU in the ranking.

LOL...no this is real time RPI. It only counts the games you have played so far. K-State is not included on that 182 number.

If you meant the penultimate, then yes, it may have been somewhat less than cordial.
Unfortunately truth and KSU-fan dreams do not always find agreement.

How is it that ku's 182 SOS (which includes KSU) doesn't factor in KSU?
I mean, if it doesn't factor in all teams, then it is worthless.

b/c they havent played kstate yet. it only factors in games played already moron.
-
Probably because It would have only factored in games played to date.
-
What on earth would be the point of factoring in teams you haven't played yet?
-
Still waiting to see evidence of how ku's weak 182 SOS doesn't include KSU...
but... All right I guess -- ku is worse than a 1-aa team
For your own sake, I hope Freeman can hold on to the ball

So, by your logic, it is impossible to set SOS before a game has been played. That's all good, for your ego, I reckon, but the experts disagree with ya...
-
The SOS # reflects only the games played, not future games.
ku's SOS will take a huge jump after 2maro

Please tell me you're joking. You can't be this stupid...
-
And Auburn's SOS rank is 1... because they HAVE played KSU... but I can already tell this is all way over your head...

Apparently I'm not the only one who understands that certain SOS rankings are set before the games are played. But my apologies for not reading your mind -- though a link or source would have helped.
Anyway ... good luck to your boys today. I hope to see a competitive game.
-
"Oh yeah, well our SOS was better last week!"
Yeah that's a super argument.

Wow. Amazing FBIQ in this thead.
