KSU vs. Xavier is just none of UC's business. They were the ones who decided to get rid of Huggins.

Looks like he still hasn't got over blowing a game and losing to the Cats.........
They were Olympic teammates before becoming back-to-back No. 1 draft picks for the Cincinnati Royals.
In the twilight of their NBA careers, Bob Boozer and Oscar Robertson were helping the Milwaukee Bucks win a title while breaking in a young phenom named Lew Alcindor, who went on to play on five more championship teams as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
As close as they became, Boozer and Robertson will argue to this day about the administration of a free throw in the 1958 NCAA Tournament.
Robertson had hit one charity to tie the game and had one more attempt coming to send the Cincinnati Bearcats ahead of Kansas State in the final seconds. As was his habit, Robertson walked away from the line between shots.
"In all these years we've discussed that play, when the referee handed him the ball and Oscar put it down and walked the length of the court, supposedly relaxing himself," Boozer recalled. "The referee handed him the ball and Oscar didn't throw it back to the ref, he put it down. And the referee started counting and Oscar still feels he was homered.
"And I say, 'Now wait a minute, Osc. How can you get homered playing us at ku? We were not in Manhattan, we were at Lawrence.' And he goes, 'Same difference, same difference, it was in the state of Kansas.'"
As it was, Robertson hurried his second free throw, which he missed, and K-State nipped Cincinnati 83-80 in double-overtime. Although it was just a first-round matchup, it did involve the No. 2 (Cincy) and No. 3 (K-State) ranked teams and left Sports Illustrated to dub it the college basketball game of the year.

While praising Kirkland, Robertson said Kirkland never got the opportunity he deserved while Huggins was the coach, although he didn't refer to Huggins by name.
"Before Andy Kennedy got here, that other coach wouldn't let him play," Robertson said of Kirkland. "I begged that guy, I said, 'Listen, if you want to win, put him in the game. Leave him alone, he doesn't respond to all this stuff you have him doing. Let him play and he'll respond.'"
Oscar robertson is an idiot. He walks around UC and talks at all the banquets like he is the coach. Huggins is one of the top coaches in the nation. Oscar was a great player but when the hell did he become a better coach than huggins? Why should Huggins listen to oscar when he has nothing to do with the team. I'm sure the guy who recruited kirkland and coached him everyday would know whats best. The best thing oscar can do is to mind his own business. Its funny how oscar was one of the first to turn his back on huggs. He sucked up while he was coach and then when he leaves he starts having negative things to say. If it wasn't for huggins, he would be probably be watching his alma mater get there ass kicked everynight in a mid major conference.
