Dont you see the connection - we produce a lot of wheat which in turn is made into flour, which is used in making pancakes. Vermont produces maple syrup. NOW do you see the connection... DUH, OF COURSE Vermont will vote for us, it's in thier best interest.

OK, and maybe the only football fan in the state is a KSU grad - whatever is clever.

I'm sure it's just the script ESPN uses that sets the colors in that order, regardless of the content of the poll.
