Title: Hilarious.
Post by: fatty fat fat on May 25, 2006, 01:43:11 PM
So Stoops offers two Kansas Recruits.

Who were the recruits?

Both ku Former/Commits, Stephenson and Ballard.

No contact w/the worthless ones we have commited.

Oh well, we can still get Stephenson.

OU has been in contact with Jayson Cuba, so has Arkansas.  I don't they are going to offer because he's pretty much a lock on KSU.

D. Bell has offers from Arizona State, Colorado State and Vandy.

Are we really going to have to listen to you two whine all &@#%ing summer long about who is and isn't recruiting the guys KSU has commits from??

OU is going to offer the Stephenson kid and Ballard because one isn't committed to anybody right now and the other is at best a "soft verbal" to ku.

Why didn't Stoops offer Cuba? Hilarious, you bring up our recruits that have other offers...then suddenly claim you "don't care" when I bring up the other 8 KSU recruits w/o offers.

He, you, me, and a handful of others might be the only ones not thinking KSU is headed for the NC with our scary smart coach.

Not saying they aren't...but I'll wait and see.

I am the way I am because I got tired of listening to the "Bill Snyder can do no wrong" crowd, that put Snyder on a pedestal above KSU ... nobody is bigger then KSU.

Bill Snyder is the reason KSU football was raised from the dead and I appreciate that, and he's also the reason that KSU had the biggest year over year dropoff in Big 12 history.

What makes me laugh is to think that some folks think if KSU hired Butch Davis that would've guranteed success, just like some people now think Huggins automatically means KSU is in the Final Four.

Yes KSU fans should be concerned, because Bill Snyder nearly drove the car off the road into the ditch and set it on fire.  Not because of anything Prince has or hasn't done in their eyes.

I can't believe nobody else ever thought of this.  This truly could revolutionize the game of football.

Yes KSU fans should be concerned, because Bill Snyder nearly drove the car off the road into the ditch and set it on fire. Not because of anything Prince has or hasn't done in their eyes.

Almost everything Prince has done thus far has been surprisingly outstanding.  The only truly questionable thing about what he has done regards his offers.  But didn't Prince specifically address this subject long before our first 2007 commit?  I thought he essentially said that some offers would go to local kids that otherwise might not get them.  It is just part of his plan for year one.  Given that he said this, that we've yet to see the remainder of the recruiting class, and that he has done everything else very well, there's really not much reason to be concerned over the commits.
