there's a "t-road" in Olathe isn't there? it's probably a bit more bitchin' than the liberty locale.

Yeah, I think Liberty is closer, though.

Roadhouse is great for the price. Isn't nearly as good as the high end places around KC but you and a date can get out for under 40 bucks easily.
-
funny how we're talking about meat in a ron jeremy thread.

QFT. The experience with all the line dancing and happy birthday BS is torture, though.
I wish there was a place slightly above Applebees around DT/Plaza. Sometimes you want to taste steak but don't want to drop $150.

You should be talking about back hair. :yuck:
-
puffys in maple hill is awesome and not very expensive. you should try it.
-
how ironic that a screen name of 'shaft' is posting in a ron jeremy thread.

Northstar in Topeka. :lick: Much better than Roadhouse, Longhorns, Timberline, etc. Similar prices too.

you're right, they have good steaks that are not too pricey. little bit of a drive though.
no line dancing though!!! well, i guess we should all just go to an outback steakhouse because they are awesome! or a texas roadhouse where you have to wait for the girls that couldn't get a job ot hooters to finish dancing to devil went down to georgia for the fifth time since you have been there before they can refill your drink.
&@#% corporate restaurants, they blow.
-
i pretty much think outback is good stuff
-
outback has great steaks.
-
their baked potatos are
and their salads that come with steak dinner are
their beers are
and like ecn said, their steaks are pretty good too.

I like pork chops.
One time they gave me Miller Lite instead of a Blvd. Wheat, and I was tired/thirsty so I put the lemon in and drank about half before I realized it tasted like piss. (not a beer snob, just miller lite with lemon is nasty)
-
dude.
if you like pork chops, you need to go here-
http://search.cityguide.aol.com/kansascity/restaurants/stephensons-apple-farm-restaurant/v-111840226
i never heard of the place but went about 5 yrs ago with a gf and her grandma. the CHOPS were CHOICE!
-
^That's like 80 miles away!!!! (yes, i know I drove to Liberty)
The thing about the beer at Outback, was they tried to tell me it really was wheat...they "checked with the bartender". I've also had Mimi's give me thousand island dressing and try to tell me it was a vinaigrette.

Stephenson's is closed. Go to the Peachtree if you want pork chops. Get the gravy smothered one's. Best ever.

No. But like I said, closed.

Oh stfu. And you like downtown? You're more likely to get killed there.
-
:D
In all seriousness I wouldn't go to someplace like Niece's on Prospect unless someone that had been there took me there first. :ohno:
18th & Vine is lol'able.
-
let's talk pork chops. i like mine slow cooked and spicy.
shame about stevenson's. i never was going to go again so i guess it wasn't really a shame. damn fine chop they had though. and that's what I want to really talk about right now, chops.
-
slightly OT: stevenson's chop was a sweeter style of chop.
-
We never really had pork chops and ham at home. I've never had ham and beans.

Ham and beans, now that's a meal/soup? that I can get behind.

Let's switch to ice cream. I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream. Ahhhhhhhhhh! :ksu:
In the heart of Johnson County lies the greatest ice cream ever. Aunt Jean’s Ice Cream. 11210 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, KS. Bestest ever.
-
i go to the DQ on rainbow/sw blvd. it's dangerous ( :peek: ) but it's worth it.

I will do this, too.
Also, I have walked to coldstone.
Best milkshake ever:
D&J's Drive-In - 609 E 14th St, Harper, Kansas, America.
-
Hard to beat Coldstone.
G's Frozen Custard and Yogurt in T-Town is excellent, too. Brown Bread custard :lick:
-
coldstone- there is some risk that the line will be very long, filled with teenage miscreants of various types. each one, in my way. with risk comes reward however, as the ice cream and toppings from coldstone are all above average.
-
Coldstone sucks ass. I'm dealing with amateurs here. :flush:
-
:curse: :curse: YOUR AUNT JEAN CAN GO TO HELL! :curse: :curse:

let's talk pork chops.
i love them jerked(insert masturbation joke here). or there is a meat locker in meriden, ks (the best little town by a dam site) that sells them smoked. they are like giant pieces of bacon. awesome.
for ice cream, i will go with call hall or whatever the chocolate almond one at baskin robbins is called.
-
Indian style ice cream is the nectar of the gods. Mango, pistachio, or kulfi. :lick:
-
i like famous daves.
The one MKS is really good stuff. IMO.
-
There's a place in Parkville, Mo called the Power Plant (in the old power plant, amazingly enough). They've got a dark beer gelato shake. Tried getting one but they were out of gelatto that night. I hear its :lick:
