there's a "t-road" in Olathe isn't there?  it's probably a bit more bitchin' than the liberty locale.

Roadhouse is great for the price.  Isn't nearly as good as the high end places around KC but you and a date can get out for under 40 bucks easily.

QFT.  The experience with all the line dancing and happy birthday BS is torture, though.

I wish there was a place slightly above Applebees around DT/Plaza.  Sometimes you want to taste steak but don't want to drop $150.

you're right, they have good steaks that are not too pricey. little bit of a drive though.

no line dancing though!!! well, i guess we should all just go to an outback steakhouse because they are awesome! or a texas roadhouse where you have to wait for the girls that couldn't get a job ot hooters to finish dancing to devil went down to georgia for the fifth time since you have been there before they can refill your drink.

&@#% corporate restaurants, they blow.

I like pork chops.

One time they gave me Miller Lite instead of a Blvd. Wheat, and I was tired/thirsty so I put the lemon in and drank about half before I realized it tasted like piss.  (not a beer snob, just miller lite with lemon is nasty)

^That's like 80 miles away!!!!  (yes, i know I drove to Liberty)

The thing about the beer at Outback, was they tried to tell me it really was wheat...they "checked with the bartender".  I've also had Mimi's give me thousand island dressing and try to tell me it was a vinaigrette.

In the heart of Johnson County lies the greatest ice cream ever. Aunt Jean’s Ice Cream. 11210 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, KS. Bestest ever.

I will do this, too.

Also, I have walked to coldstone.

Best milkshake ever:

D&J's Drive-In - 609 E 14th St, Harper, Kansas, America.

Hard to beat Coldstone.

G's Frozen Custard and Yogurt in T-Town is excellent, too. Brown Bread custard  :lick:

coldstone-  there is some risk that the line will be very long, filled with teenage miscreants of various types.  each one, in my way.  with risk comes reward however, as the ice cream and toppings from coldstone are all above average.

for ice cream, i will go with call hall or whatever the chocolate almond one at baskin robbins is called.

There's a place in Parkville, Mo called the Power Plant (in the old power plant, amazingly enough).  They've got a dark beer gelato shake.  Tried getting one but they were out of gelatto that night.  I hear its  :lick:
