Title: Package deal
Post by: jarrr on May 24, 2006, 05:36:18 PM
I dont care what Doyel says. He'll bash us anyways. Lets go ahead and fill the last assistant spot with another package. Dwaine Barnes anyone? How about this Cunningham guy that has Hernol Hall wrapped up, I guess we dont need Hall though since hes a big guy. Oh hell, how bout Herb Popes dad, or Hannahs mother. Any other potential package deals out there we might be able to get.

ha, Im sure he could bring in some good talent. Seriosuly though, I was just kidding about the package. Huggs will get the guys he wants in without having to worry about hiring a loser assistant. Hill and Underwood are both good coaches, I gurentee you Hill will have a HC job sometime in the next 5 or so years.

Shortly after Huggins was hired, he was responding to a particularly fresh and innovative question regarding the recruitment of talent to Manhattan when he said, "this is a people business."  Since that time, I have developed a new appreciation of what he meant.  The packages have played a role in that.  Primarily, though, it's the goddamn enormous size of his rolodex.

I don't want any part of that shriveled up old package.  Now, if you're talking about his 3 blonde girlfriends--that's another story!  Hef is in his 70s, not married, & has three incredible *young* blondes at his beck & call.  That there, folks, is proof-positive that there's no fuqin' justice in the world.

Yep......and he's got a hot girl for every year he's been on this earth by his side.

That's what I meant by "package deal".

Hugh can coach.........and we can have the playmates as our "cheer" squad......talk about GRCOAT.  :lick:
