MANHATTAN, Kan. – Kansas State athletics officials announced Monday morning that University of Kansas has returned their previously purchased 1,925 tickets for the game on October 6, 2007.
A spokesperson with the University of Kansas athletic department stated about 6pm on September 29, the ku ticket office began receiving phone calls asking about the ability to refund previously purchased tickets. Due to the massive amount of calls, Athletic Director Lew Perkins met with Kansas State Athletic Director Tim Weiser and worked out an agreement which allowed the University of Kansas to return all previously purchased tickets to the Saturday game.
Tickets will be put on sale through the Kansas State Ticket office at 9am on Wednesday October 3rd.
Tickets may be purchased in person at the K-State Athletic Ticket Office in Bramlage Coliseum, by calling 800-221-CATS or ordering on-line at www.k-statesports.com.

and the tickets that they did purchase thought that they were for the basketball game. After all ku is a Basketball school first.

I thought they only returned 500 or so from the 2k+ (rather than the 4k they could have had). Now it looks like they are returning all of them??? :confused:

Heya MJ -- Any way to bump me from Cub status without the required number of posts? I'm somewhat troubled by the gullibility of the cub population around here and don't want their obvious lack of experience to reflect poorly on me.
